How Search to Flip handles information

Information you provide

During the beta, you may provide listing URLs, search terms, uploaded product photographs, valuation adjustments, deal assumptions, purchase costs, inventory status, sale outcomes, and optional reseller notes. Uploaded photographs are processed to identify visible products and are not intended for personal or sensitive information.

Service and usage information

We may process basic technical and usage information needed to secure, operate, diagnose, and improve the service, including request times, feature usage, errors, device information, and approximate network information.

Service providers

We use Supabase for account authentication and application data, Stripe for payments and subscription management, Vercel and Railway for website and service infrastructure, Vercel Web Analytics for privacy-conscious traffic measurement, Google Analytics and Meta Pixel for optional site and advertising measurement, eBay and approved marketplace-data providers for listing research, SoldComps for supported sold-market evidence, OpenAI for supported user-provided photo-identification features, and SerpApi to request Google Lens visual matches for selected user-uploaded photos when the optional accuracy layer is enabled. These providers process information only as needed to provide, secure, measure, or support the service under their respective terms.

Affiliate links and tracking

Search to Flip participates in the eBay Partner Network. When you deliberately follow a qualifying eBay link, the link may include a campaign identifier and reference identifier that allow eBay and the eBay Partner Network to attribute the referral and an eligible transaction to Search to Flip. eBay may use cookies or similar technologies under its own privacy notices and controls. Search to Flip does not receive your eBay password, payment-card details, or private marketplace messages through an affiliate click.

Retention and choices

Account and billing records are retained while an account is active and afterward as reasonably needed for security, dispute handling, tax, accounting, and legal obligations. Analysis history, saved searches, watchlist data, and user-entered inventory outcomes remain available to the account holder until deleted or the account is closed. Account holders may request access, correction, export, or deletion through the contact page. Some transaction records may be retained where legally required.

Payments

Payment-card information is collected and processed directly by Stripe and is not stored by Search to Flip. We receive limited billing information such as Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, payment status, purchased product, amount, currency, and billing-period dates.

Analytics and cookies

Vercel Web Analytics may process page paths, referrers, device or browser information, approximate location, and similar usage signals. Google Analytics and Meta Pixel may use cookies or comparable technologies to measure page visits, advertising performance, and attribution under their respective terms and privacy controls. You can disable these optional analytics through Privacy choices in the site footer. We also honor supported Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track browser signals by keeping optional analytics disabled. Authentication, billing, and affiliate services may use cookies or comparable storage necessary to operate their features. We do not sell personal information.

Children

The service is not directed to children under 13 and should not be used to submit children’s personal information.

Changes

We may update this policy as the beta, providers, and account features evolve. Material changes will be reflected by the date above.
